In a recent article we highlighted a project shared by a great local vendor (See https://www.stortz.com/project-highlight-kaller-roofing/ ) where Kaller Roofing upgraded a 19th century historical residence from asphalt shingle to a slate roof with copper roof porch. We are grateful to them and to our client for sharing the details and wonderful review below.

Customer Review:

“We sought out Kaller to work on our c. 1880 home because of their expertise in historic restoration and combination of roofing and carpentry capabilities. Chuck helped us with the planning, and we really appreciated his expert guidance. The job included a new slate roof on the main part of the house, replacing asphalt shingles; a standing seam copper roof on the front porch, replacing a failed flat seam roof; and repairs/ replacement of copper gutters. We uncovered a few issues as the job progressed and having carpenters on staff allowed Kaller to handle needed repairs quickly.”

“Kaller dedicated a crew to the job for the duration. The crew was always punctual, friendly, and cleaned up every day. They really take pride in their work, minding the details, and it absolutely shows in the final product! It’s great to see the house restored back to its original grandeur.”

Kaller Roofing reply: You deserve some nice big friendly kudos from the Newtown Historical Society and the neighbors in your beautiful historical district for the wonderful restoration of your home that now looks so fitting and fine.
