We have been customers of Kaller Roofing since 1998 when the company replaced the entire roof on our Main Line Philadelphia home. We have used them ever since for more focused repairs over the years. The basic service and outcomes have been excellent. The company has been very responsive when contacted and provided prompt assessments of the problem and fair estimates for the cost of repair. We have been very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work.

Kaller Roofing repaired my roof and internal support beam structure as well as replaced gutters from storm damage. Chuck was responsive and provided clear details and expectations in a friendly and professional manner. Mike was a pleasure to have onsite. Throughout the job he maintained a very positive attitude despite record heat. The property was meticulously cleaned every day. Thank you Kaller Roofing!

My experience with the roofing team from R. Kaller & Sons is one of complete satisfaction. From the beginning, when friendly yet professional introductions were made, it was clear that they expected good communication throughout the job's duration. Day to day I was asked if I had any questions/concerns, and I was made aware of the progressbeing accomplished. The completed roof looks great, and I am confident with the expert instillation.

Kaller roofing did a lift and relay on a large section of our tile roof as well as pretty extensive repairs to the eaves and some of the wood under the roof. Chuck was very responsive and easy to work with, and Michael did an absolutely wonderful job on the repairs. We would definitely recommend Kaller roofing to anyone needing repairs on a tile roof, and we intend to use them again if any other sections of the roof need repair in the future.

The Team at Kaller Roofing was great from start to finish. Chuck was very responsive and explained everything clearly. Mike Austin was meticulous in all of the work he did at our home (slate repair and replacement, copper ridge and hip capping, copper vent pipe collars, copper snow guards, etc.), was very professional and always punctual. It is rare these days that someone shows as much care for their craft as Mike. He took the time to make sure things were aligned, symmetrical, true, plumb, etc. both at the roof level and from the street and yard level. He took time to explain things to me when I had questions and was always super nice, careful and courteous. He has a great attention to detail and it is clear that safety is very important to him, which is great to see. He always cleaned up at the end of the day and was very personable. Even the owner Ray came by from time to time to see how things were going and to make sure Kaller was meeting our expectations. I would say Kaller exceeded our expectations and would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

We bought a home, and the roof required some significant and minor repairs. Chuck was very professional and helpful in discussions about the project ahead. After comparison with other local companies, we thought that Kaller would do the best overall job. The job was completed 1 week ago and everything seems great so far (including tricky slate front roof).However, we found at least 1 dozen pieces of metal (iron, brass, copper) and old roof scattered throughout the yard after they left. They are also a bit more expensive and communication was a bit vague in the waiting period.

Kaller Roofing professionals are interested in doing a good job, evident in their steady work and craftsmanship, and experienced ability to problem solve difficult situations that ongoing work can reveal. I have hired them twice. Whether it has been the work assessments and cost estimates with discussions and options, figuring out structural issues which were discovered, or maintaining excellent standards of ongoing work, they have all been very professional. They gave straight-forward, well-explained answers. They were always prompt and pleasant, working steadily throughout the hot days, leaving the site safe and neat each day.

Flat roof surfaces cleaned and recoated. Justin and coworker (Cal?) were courteous, efficient, neat, respectful of property, and professional.Otherwise, I would have appreciated a call that that my work was scheduled for this morning. My invoice is dated July 6, 2021, not August 9.

Excellent. Great from start to finish. Chuck, Kaller's sales rep, made excellent suggestions about material selection. He's professional and forthright, and he visited the project as it progressed.Kaller assigned a team of four to our project. Same people every day, and they were not distracted with any other job running simultaneously to ours. The team arrived like clockwork at the same hour every day, and they worked to the same hour every day so there was no incentive to rush the project and quit early.These are highly-skilled tradesmen who take pride in their work. Kaller specializes in complicated roof replacements on older homes. These are challenging projects that require an experienced workforce.Our project generated mountains of 80-year-old dried out wood during demolition. We liked that none of the workers smoked on our property, especially with all that dried out wood piled around.All of Kaller's workers (Carlos, Rich, Charlie, and Cali) were nice people to have working on your property. We never had to clean up after them, and they left the job site organized and swept down every day.

Previous owner paid 30k for a new roof 6 months prior to me buying the house. Roof has leaked ever since. Told by company owner that it’s impossible that the leak is from the roof and begged me repeatedly to write a positive google review for his time on the phone misdiagnosing my problem. I would have been more than happy to pay him to fix the problem that should never have been present if he stood by his work. Maybe Ray and his crew are great if everything goes to plan, but god help you if there is a problem. I’d go with a different company.Update 5/29/21-Hi Ray, thank you for the response. My wife had called recently and explained the situation to someone with your company and told she would get a return phone call, but never did. I’m sorry to have missed Chuck. To correct your post, a leak test was never performed and there is water damage extending from the roof down the wall on the second floor and into the powder room. I’ve had two independent roofing inspectors point out issues with the roof, not the stucco wall. That was a nice review from Stephen, though he barely lived in the house after the roof was repaired, and I think we can agree that reviews are less meaningful when you ask your customers to do them!

Replaced entire roof on home and carport, new gutters, downspouts and guards also installed, with repair of rotted areas. Most comprehensive and complete work addressing all my roofing issues from the last 28 years. Previously gone thru 3 other companies that always left unresolved issues prior to now. The workmen were excellent. They respected my property, were always available to answer questions. Pleasure to work with everyone.Small issues were resolved quickly and satisfactorily. We found them through a neighbor that was using them, and after watching the work they did on the neighbor's house, we decided to give them a call. We are very glad we did. We have a difficult roof to work on as it is an unusual type of terracotta tile. Our project manager, Clint, showed up on time every day, communicated with us everything that he found, cleaned up thoroughly every day before he left and was extremely knowledgeable about the work he was doing. That was not the experience we have had with other roofers that attempted to make repairs over the years. He would even send us pictures of the work as it was progressing since we were not going to go out on the roof to see for ourselves. Everyone that we dealt with in the company was very professional and responsive. We would absolutely recommend this company and will definitely be having them back to continue the next phase of repairs. The were a pleasure to work with.

The team, Chuck, Rich, Carlos, and Charlie was great. The guys were on time each day, worked diligently, and explained what was going on each step of the way. Some potential issues that Chuck anticipated were in fact discovered; the team was responsive with providing materials and addressing the issues, without any delays. Carlos provided pictures when to show before and after conditions. The job was started and completed on time! Our neighbors have complemented us, saying they enjoy looking at the new roof.

I used R Kaller & Sons to install new roofs at my house (built 1920) and surrounding out buildings after seeing their work on a nearby home. I am very pleased with the roofing and related carpentry work they did. It really looks beautiful. Project manager Chuck was very easy to work with, professional and highly experienced. Foreman Mike and his crew were great - friendly, courteous, always on time, and cleaned up at the end of each day on the project. I was very impressed by the craftsmanship and artistry of the cedar roofing work. A great job!

Since we bought our +/- 100 years old house, still with its original Vermont slate roof, the Kaller team has been on site multiple times doing a variety of jobs ranging from full gutter replacement to copper dormer roof replacement, chimney repair and more. Chuck's assessment as to what was needed always seemed reasonable. The crews were knowledgeable, courteous and professional and executed the jobs in a timely manner. The quality of the work is excellent and competitively priced. Thanks to the Kaller team we are confident our beautiful slate roof will serve us well for decades to come.

I had Kaller come out and work on my porch roof that was handled poorly initially by another local contractor. From the very beginning I experienced professionalism and true consultation throughout the process to consider each element the project, ensuring everything was handled correctly moving forward.Clint was the leading the job and was excellent in his attention to detail on each component of the project.Kaller may not have the lowest quote for the job but you are getting true professionals that don't take shortcuts.

Kaller has been taking care of our slate roof since we moved here in 1987. They’ve always been fair with pricing, and have done excellent work. This last time Rich, Carlos and Charlie were on the job. When they went up on the roof to do some repairs on the 3rd floor dormer, they discovered that the problems, which weren’t visible from the ground, were much more extensive than originally anticipated . They took photos and showed us what needed to be done.

They have been terrific — communicative, responsive, and their workmanship has been top-notch. Our roofs have not been simple — steep, lots of funky angles, and a lot of copper counterflashing. They have consistently delivered, with a roof that is built-to-last. Our 2021 roof was built during the COVID supply shortages, and Kaller got all the materials, the roof looks great, and there have been no problems at all. They also improved the strength and look of the gutters and replaced a bunch of cedar siding. We couldn’t be happier with their work.

He was able to walk me through the process, explain what he was looking at in terms of the roof, and got me an estimate pretty quickly. During a storm last year, we unfortunately had a large tree branch that pierced our roof, ripped off gutters, and damaged cedar siding. Chuck and his team at Kaller did an excellent job repairing the damage caused so that you would never know there was a problem in the first place.

The shingles matched our existing 20-year-old shingles perfectly and they matched the bead on the new cedar siding exactly. I would highly recommend Kaller for all roofing needs.
