Flat roofing materials have advanced greatly, some of us are old enough to remember roofing trucks towing a hot tar kettle. Today with the advancement of materials, we have many other types of systems to consider, depending on the project design and parameters. New materials such as EPDM, TPO, PVC, Mod-Bit and others which we can help you understand what’s best for your project.

Flat roofs are critically important to get right, because they are, flat. Water needs to be properly drained. Perhaps you have a ponding condition on your flat roof that requires attention with new tapered roof panels to provide positive pitch towards the drain. Proper flashing details need to be expertly completed at all drainage, side walls, chimneys and any other building elements that intersect the flat roof. So if a problem exists with the adjoining carpentry or masonry that needs repair in the course of the project, Kaller has the in-house manpower to perform the project in its entirety.

When the U.S. Government performed its nationwide pre-qualification process to select a proven group of roofing contractors with an extensive track record of performing on complex and difficult projects, Kaller was one of the few that met all the qualification requirements. Passing all the Department of Defense (DoD) security background checks, Kaller was provided DoD security clearance to perform roofing projects onsite at some of our most sensitive overseas locations at United States Embassies. The rooftop of an embassy building is the home for the satellite and antenna arrays that are critical to the operation of the embassy, and challenging equipment that needs to be properly built into the roof system. Demanding projects on multiple continents requiring all equipment, tools, materials, personnel to meet strict American specifications all shipped securely from the U.S. and guided through foreign ports per DoD requirements.
